    What is P60?

    P60 is the annual tax return issued from the employer where you were working on April 5 of the current year. The information you need from this form is total revenue and total taxes paid.

    What is P45?

    P45 is the form issued to you each time you end an employment contract, either by resignation or dismissal. The information you need from this form is termination date, total revenue, and total taxes paid.

    What amount can I get back?

    You can recover the amount for which the tax already withheld has been deducted. The tax exemption amount depends on the tax rate for the financial year in question. For example, if you are an employee claiming a tax exemption for £ 1000 of allowed expenses, you will receive £ 200, i.e, 20% of £ 1000.

    I don't have a UTR, I only work as an employee, and I receive payslips. Do I have to file year-end closing statements?

    What type of expenses qualify for Tax Rebate?
