    If I have no income for the past year but I have a UTR, do I have to file a year-end tax return?

    Yes. The Tax Return return must be filed if UTRs are registered, regardless of whether or not you earn income for the financial year.

    If I worked in construction and made income from other activities on my own, do I have to file a Tax Return declaration?

    Yes.

    Do I have to file a tax return if I am a company director?

    Yes. It is mandatory for a company director to file a tax return with HMRC if a return has been issued.

    If you are concerned about UTR but have not announced in advance that you are no longer working as a Self-Employed, you must submit the closing statement for the year.

    I don't have a UTR, I only work as an employee, and I receive payslips. Do I have to file year-end closing statements?
